This unique collaboration with Basic Initiative
, a leading design/build architecture organization, brought Good Profit to the northernmost region of India next to the borders, of China and Pakistan. Work began in 2010 with structures to improve the student experience at a fully off-the-grid Buddhist school focused on the challenge on modernizing and maintaining one’s culture. After regional flooding in 2010, work evolved into a water management project encompassing the entire region. Work continues today.
Providing technical support and strategy, Good Profit collaborated and advised these young architects and community members. Good Profit also strategizes directions for financial support to sustain this multi-year initiative.
Good Profit learned about the needs of sophisticated work in very remote areas. This project greatly informs the development of our project reporting.
